How the TV networks hid the Twin Towers’ explosive demolition

“The Triumph of the Official Narrative” documents the key role TV news managers played in establishing the perception worldwide that Islamic hijackers destroyed the Towers by crashing two planes into them, igniting deadly office fires with their fuel.

The new paper, researched and written by MacQueen and Ted Walter,*** follows their first, “How 36 Reporters Brought Us the Twin Towers’ Explosive Demolition on 9/11,” published in 2020. Click HERE to read it.

For that, the co-authors reviewed 70 hours of news coverage and found the “explosion hypothesis” to be dominant among reporters at the scene when the Twin Towers collapsed. (A third WTC skyscraper, Building 7, collapsed in late afternoon.

In their new paper, using the same 70 hours of news coverage, MacQueen and Walter examine how the official narrative — that two planes crashing into the Twin Towers commandeered by al Qaeda terrorists led by Osama bin Laden — quickly supplanted what journalists at the scene had been reporting.

* MacQueen is the author of The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic Conspiracy (Clarity Press.) He received his Ph.D. in Buddhist studies from Harvard University and taught in the Religious Studies Department of McMaster University for 30 years. Founding director of the Centre for Peace Studies at the university, he helped develop the university’s B.A. program in Peace Studies, and oversaw the development of peace-building projects in Sri Lanka, Gaza, Croatia and Afghanistan. He was on the committee that organized the Toronto Hearings held in September 2011. He is co-editor of The Journal of 9/11 Studies.
