Ukraine reaffirms tough stance on talks with Russia. From Reuters. KYIV — Ukraine doubled down on its tough stance on negotiations with Russia today, saying talks could only resume once the Kremlin relinquishes all Ukrainian territory and that Kyiv would fight on even if it is “stabbed in the back” by its allies. In a recorded address, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky today urged the United States to “maintain unwavering unity,” as questions hover over American support for his country following midterm elections to determine control of the U.S. Congress. “Democracies must not stop on their way to the victory,” he said.
