Germany pledges new military aid worth 1.3 bn euros for Ukraine. From AFP. Germany today announced 1.3 billion euros ($1.4 billion) more in military gear for Ukraine in its fight against Russia, including four further IRIS T-SLM air defence systems as well as artillery ammunition. Number of Western businesses recruit mercenaries for Ukraine, says Russian envoy. From Tass. MOSCOW — A number of Western companies have been recruiting foreign mercenaries to take part in the hostilities in Ukraine, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for the crimes of the Kiev regime, said at a briefing.
