(An article in the New York Times begins to shed the kind of light on the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that a growing number of researchers have been looking for in the mainstream news media.

(Headed “9/11 Museum Vexed by Cuts and Feuds,” the story under Zachary Small’s byline leads the Arts section of the newsprint editions of today’s Times.

(Because since a few months after the attacks — at most — Times reporters and editors seemed to have been prevented from delving into a number of aspects of the “9/11” phenomenon, it’s an article of historic importance. Some who have followed the subject, mostly online, may want to purchase a copy of today’s Times at a newsstand.
