Russian offensive continues toward Mariupol; Visa and MasterCard suspend their operations in Russia Le Monde reports in a news brief: “Russia had announced a ceasefire and the opening of humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from this strategic port. But these operations were rapidly suspended, and the Mariupol mayor accused Moscow of continuing to bombard the city.”
