A Play Within a Play

Ten performances remain in the short run of “A Blanket of Dust” off-Broadway at The Flea including tonight’s at 7 and two Saturday matinees before it closes on June 30.

It’s a tragedy within the national tragedy, its protagonist, Diana Crane (played by Angela Pierce), described on the theater’s website as a modern-day Antigone. See more about the play in the June 18 entry below.

Four mixed reviews have appeared online. Three of them are linked at http://action.ae911truth.org/o/50694/t/0/blastContent.jsp?email_blast_KEY=1390974.

As noted in the link above, media critic Mark Crispin Miller*, 9/11 family member Bob McIlvaine, playwright Richard Squires, and architect Bill Brinnier will discuss the play following the June 27 performance.

I echo Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth when they say “We encourage everyone who can make it to the Big Apple to come see this important play — and, if you attend on the 27th, to stay for the Q&A. We realize the majority of you live too far away to be there, so we’re filming the Q&A and will release the video shortly thereafter. In the meantime, you can urge your friends who are nearby to come enjoy this ‘thought-provoking,’ ‘masterful,’ ‘much needed’ production!”
