This is a notice of a double book review I hope to complete of two books about the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and much more. Brief descriptions of them are accessible by clicking on their titles.

The first, chronologically, is Intelligence Matters: The CIA, the FBI, Saudi Arabia, and the Failure of America’s War on Terror, by U.S. Sen. Bob Graham (1936-2024) with Jeff Nussbaum. Published by Random House in 2004, I learned of it while reading the other book I’ll review. I’m only through its introduction, which is good.

The second is The Big Bamboozle: 9/11 and the War on Terror, by Philip Marshall (c. 1958-2013). It was self-published in 2012 by the author, self-described on page 4 as “a veteran airline captain and former government ‘special activities’ contract pilot [and author of] three books on Top Secret America, a group presently conducting business as the United States Intelligence Community.” A few chapters are HERE. Intelligence Matters is one of 10 books Marshall recommends in Appendix 1.
