President Names U.S. Attorneys for Manhattan and Brooklyn: President Biden on Tuesday nominated Damian Williams as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and Breon S. Peace as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Williams has been a prosecutor in the Manhattan office for nearly a decade, most recently overseeing a unit specializing in securities fraud. Both are African American.
